More Indian companies raised funds from public investors through the stock market route in the second half of 2025 than they did earlier, according to a KPMG India analysis.
Cumulatively, till December 2025, the Indian IPO market exhibited robust activity with more than 90 listings, raising nearly ₹160,000 crore in funds, and reflecting healthy investor appetite for new issues. Existing shareholders capitalised on market sentiments to pursue exits with Offer for Sale accounting for more than half of the total proceeds.
The top 15 listings accounted for more than 60 per cent of the funds raised in in FY-26, and seven of these listings accounted for over 20 per cent of the IPO funds raised.![]()
