Building materials company Prism Johnson has said that its board has agreed to sell a 51 per cent stake in Raheja QBE (R-QBE) General Insurance to QBE Holdings for ₹324 crore.
According to Prism Johnson’s regulatory filings, the company has a carrying value of investment in R-QBE General Insurance of ₹339.26 crore as at 31 March 2025.
R-QBE has specialised in providing general insurance products including health insurance, motor insurance, home insurance and office insurance. On 31 March 2025, it posted revenues of ₹498.91 crore and a net worth of ₹253.66 crore.
QBE Holdings is part of the QBE Group, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and is comprised of international insurers and reinsurers organised across three divisions with a local presence in 26 countries.![]()
