Italy's F.I.L.A. pares down stake in DOMS Industries

Italian company F.I.L.A. S.p.A. has sold part of its stake in Indian listed firm DOMS Industries, a Gujarat-based stationery manufacturer, reducing its holding from 26.01 per cent to around 19 per cent.

The company sold just over 4.2 million shares, representing about 7 per cent of DOMS’ total equity, at a price of ₹2,200.34 per share, raising approximately ₹934.74 crore in total.

The company said that it plans to use these funds to “optimise its capital structure, deleverage and satisfy shareholders’ priorities, as well as to pursue F.I.L.A.’s strategic objectives including potential future M&A”.

BNP Paribas and J.P. Morgan acted as joint bookrunners in connection with the placement.

For the year ended 31 March 2026, DOMS Industries posted revenue of ₹2,049 crore and a net profit of about ₹220 crore.icon
