Lumina Datamatics completes acquisition of publishing company TNQ Tech

Lumina Datamatics, a subsidiary of Datamatics Global Services, has fully acquired publishing company TNQ Tech through the purchase of a residual 20 per cent stake in the company for ₹206.80 crore.

The first purchase of an 80 per cent stake in the Chennai-based company was made in 2025 and had cost ₹348 crore.

TNQ Tech provides pre-press publishing, design, software development and software maintenance services to international publishers of scientific, technology and medical journals and books. In providing digital content for scientific journals it also owns a technology platform and patents in content enrichment.

The company has presence in India, Europe and North America and posted turnover of ₹338 crore in financial year 2025-26.

The acquisition has also helped Lumina Datamatics increase its presence in the European market.
